Dear Daughter,

I wrote this last night on your instagram account but am just now getting to post it here. I think I'll start posting all of my content here just in case anything were to happen to my accounts that I have created for you.

It’s just after 2am (which is why I look so tired) and I’m feeling so blessed.

Tonight I was able to see the Northern Lights here on the farm. We don’t get the opportunity to see them here very often, in fact, I bet they’ve only ever been visible maybe 2-3 times in my lifetime. Tonight was the first time I’ve every really been able to make them out. They were faint, but they were there!

I’ve always wondered what the Northern Lights really were. Growing up, we had science fairs that we had to create boards for and explain the “science” behind that specific thing. My sister actually had a project on Northern Lights and I remember always wanting to be able to see them.

As I’ve grown older, my eyes have been able to see beauty in creation that I have never seen before. Whether it’s looking at a bee bouncing from flower to flower or a beautiful shooting star in the sky. I always find myself thanking the Lord for revealing himself to me through his creation. There’s actually a verse in the Bible that I want to quote which makes me think about the Northern Lights.

“And he that sat was to look up like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the thrown, in sight unto an emerald”

Revelations 4:3

How amazing is God’s creation? I might be convinced that the Northern Lights are coming from the throne of God. How incredible?!

His creation is so perfect, complex and yet so simple. You are a part of His beautiful creation sweet girl, and while things aren’t how they were promised to you and I, I truly believe that someday we will have a flourishing relationship like God intended.

I love you. I wish you were here 🤍

With all my love,

Abby
